THE POWER Plant Mall at Rockwell Center charms moms of all ages, shapes and sizes May 2-8 with special treats, activities and delightful surprises.
Action begins at South Court on May 2 with Picture Perfect, a heart-warming photo exhibit that captures the special highlights in a mom’s life. The metro’s most sought-after photographers—Raymond Isaac, Wig Tysmans, Jim Paredes, Sara Black, Ross Capili, Edwin Loyola, John Chua, Mandy Navasero, Edwin Tuyay and Pilar Tuason—show off their poignant images until Sunday, Mother’s Day.
On May 4, another exhibit rises at North Court. Miele, maker of premium washing machines, ovens, vacuum cleaners, refrigerators and fitted kitchens, puts on a showcase of kitchen products and cookware.
On May 6-8, sweep Mom off her feet with a fiesta of flowers from The Rustan’s Flower Shop and Spruce Floral Designs at the concourse and R1 levels of the mall.
On Mother’s Day, May 8, take the family to lunch and let Mom get serenaded by a talented father-son duo at the concourse level. North Court turns into a big leisure and activity space at 1- 7 p.m.
Kids can take their moms to do crafts and decorate their very own memo boards, shopping totes and bangle bracelets. Miele gives away cookies made specially for moms while running a workshop on cupcake design. Mothers get special treats from Shu Uemura, The Spa, Dorothy Perkins and Trucco.
Shu Uemura stages Beauty Workshop at 5 p.m., featuring an expert makeup artist. Mom can get free products and win makeover vouchers.
The Spa is also set to give Mom a soothing break. Let her experience a spontaneous massage session, get exclusive discounts and gift vouchers, and win wellness gift cards all afternoon. End your day with a special date—the Power Plant Cinema gives away free popcorn buckets every hour!
Don’t forget to write on the Freedom Boards at the mall entrances and show Mom some love. Call 8981702 or visit Power Plant Mall on Facebook (www.facebook.com/PowerPlantMall).
